What your friend sees when they tap the link.
The pool so far, what everyone is pledging, the rules, the start date. One button to pledge, one to invite. Two people and the sprint is on.
Start a Clique with your friends. Everyone pledges the same amount into a pool and agrees the rules. For the length of the sprint you prove every rule, every day, on camera, in the chat. Finish and your pledge comes back with a share of what the quitters left behind.
iPhone only. The beta runs on play money.
01 How a Clique works
A Clique is a group chat with a pool. The person who starts it sets the rules, the pledge and how long the sprint runs. Everyone who joins puts the same money in. Two mates at $5 or a thousand strangers at $50. Then the camera and the clock take over.
Name it. Pick rules from the list or write your own. Set the pledge, anything from $1 with no ceiling, and the length, from a weekend to a year.
Share one link or a six letter code. Friends tap it, see the rules and the pool, and pledge. Two people and it is on.
Everyone pays the same into the pool. It is locked until the last day. Nobody can leave with it once the sprint starts.
Every rule, every day, straight from the camera into the chat. Steps and sleep come from Apple Health on their own.
At the end, every finisher gets their pledge back plus an even cut of what the kicked members left. Paid to the wallet at 8am.

02 The money
The pool is only ever your Clique's money. Miss two days in a row and you are kicked; your $50 stays on the table. When the sprint ends the people who finished split everything the quitters left. FitClique charges a small fee at the door and never takes a cent from the pool.
03 The chat
There is no upload button. Plates, lifts, weigh-ins, body photos: the app opens the camera, stamps the shot and drops it in the thread before you have put the fork down. Your friends see all of it. A photo of a screen gets caught by the depth sensor. An old photo gets caught by the clock. A kick lands in the chat with your name on it.
04 The plate
No calorie app. No typing. The photo is the proof and the proof is the food log. Fifteen seconds later the number sits on the bubble where the whole group can see the croissant. Set a daily cap and the Clique has to stay under it.
05 Sleep leagues
Watch, Oura or Whoop feed the score. Every night a chart lands in the chat: who climbed, who slipped, who has the crown. At the end of the sprint the best sleeper takes the bounty. Nobody else has made sleep a league table between friends.
06 The judge
Every rule is checked by the server at midnight in the Clique's time zone. Moving your clock does nothing. Manual entries in Apple Health do not count. Two misses in a row and you are kicked, in front of everyone, and the kick is final.
What a Clique can bet on
1 to 6 plates a day, read by the camera. Clean, keto, home-cooked, or a calorie cap.
Daily or N a week, rest days set by the creator.
2,000 to 50,000 a day from Apple Health.
5 to 10 hours a night. Watch, Oura, Whoop.
Daily or weekly, number entered on the scale photo.
Anything the creator writes. Cold shower. No phone after 10. Peer verified.
A small fee at the door. The money on the table belongs to the people who finish. Nobody at FitClique touches it.
